Hi, sounds like we are going through something similar. Mine has just come back elevated at 239. I have been told other conditions like endometriosis cause this to be raised and doesn’t always mean cancer.
I am sorry to hear you are undergoing some tests at the moment. This must be a worrying time for you but try and take things one step at a time for now.
The ca125 blood test measures inflammation in the pelvic region. This can be caused by lots of conditions and therefore if it is raised the cause won't automatically be cancer. As others have mentioned things like endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts and even menstruation can raise the ca125 level.
Usually further tests such as a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound will also be carried out alongside the ca125 to give more detail about what may be going on.
