Hi ,

I have recently had a scan on my thyroid , I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and prescribed thyroxine 50mg,

I still felt something wasn't right so I went back the doctors because my neck felt swollen,

I was sent for a scan which has come back as a U5 (malignant) nodule,

I am waiting for an appointment for a FNA and I am just wondering with a U5 finding on the nodule is it possible the FNA will show it may not be cancer? 
any help is appreciated so very much right now as I am very worried and scared.
