  • Hello Hevs and thanks for your post,

I am sorry to hear about your situation.

I can understand that there is so much to take on board. We do have some general information about the different types of chemotherapy that you may be given. The aim will be to shrink the cancer as much as possible before they discuss what type of surgery for vulval cancer they offer you.

You could discuss with the doctors how many courses of treatment you will be given and how often you will be scanned.

It can help to read through the different links above to get more of an understanding when they are explaining your treatment plan.

We do have a page on our website about living with vulval cancer which you might find helpful to read as well.

You may find it more helpful to ring and chat this through with one of the helpline nurses.

The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open Monday to Friday, 9a.m to 5p.m.

    All the best,

    Catherine
