I was sent to ENT 4/3 with a neck lump. I was referred for a scan and biopsy 23/3 which showed thyroid nodules. I was called to say the result was cat 3 and they’d have to remove half to be sure. I didn’t see the consultant until 4 weeks later. I’ve got surgery booked 29/5.  The lump wasn’t so noticeable before but now I can feel it seems bigger. My notes said No Lymphadenopathy but in the timescale can this change? I’m wondering how many have had cancer and it’s spread before it’s even looked at. Very anxious of course.
