Hi, I found a small hard lump in my clitoris hood and it has caused swelling. I am worried has my Mum died of breast cancer. I going to make a GP appointment tomorrow. Thanks for reading this.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve found a lump that’s worrying you. It’s completely understandable to feel concerned, especially with your family history of breast cancer.
We’re not able to diagnose what this might be. You’re doing the right thing by arranging to see your GP, as only an examination and, if needed, tests can confirm what it is.
Lumps in this area can be quite common and are often caused by things that aren’t cancer, such as cysts, blocked glands, skin irritation, or infections.
It’s good that you’re getting it checked, and hopefully you won’t have to wait too long for an appointment and some reassurance.
