I am sorry to read that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer, but happy to learn that you are finishing treatment soon.
You should get a follow-up appointment between 4 to 6 weeks after your radiotherapy treatment ends. This will be with your consultant or a member of the team.
Usually a follow-up scan is scheduled around 8-12 weeks after the treatment finishes. This delay allows time for side effects to settle and for the body to respond, as radiotherapy can continue working for weeks after your last radiotherapy session.
