November 2025 I had a punch biopsy on the right breast,result bcc, It’s going to be removed around august/ September this year,can I cover it up with a plaster on holiday thanks
If the area is healed, it should be fine to cover it with a normal breathable plaster on holiday.
If the area is not fully healed, it’s best to keep it covered with a non‑stick dressing. You can buy these in your local pharmacy, or your GP may prescribe them.
It’s important to protect the area from the sun so covering it is a good idea. It’s best to avoid swimming if the skin is open or scabbed.
Do seek medical advice if there is any redness, pain, discharge, or bleeding.
