I had a BCC removed from my face ( cheek) yesterday and I am due to remove my bandage tomorrow.

The post op advice was to clean the wound and then use Vaseline on it and then to leave it uncovered until a weeks time, when I have my stitches removed.

Having looked into the procedure in great depth, I see a lot of comments saying that the wound can stay covered up.

TBH I would prefer to keep it covered when out and about and uncovered when at home.

Obviously I want to do what’s right but just a bit confused with the mixed messaging.
