When someone has a high FIT test normally the next step is a Colonoscopy
A positive FIT test can indicate that there is bleeding coming from somewhere in the gut. It is not a test for cancer. There are many different reasons why someone could present with a high FIT test.
You could have polyps which are normally benign or it could indicate that a cancer is present. You would need more investigations to find out more.
I can understand how unsettling this is, probably waiting for more tests to happen.
