Hello and thanks for posting
I'm sorry to read about what's happening and can appreciate that any new symptoms can prey on your mind.
Even after having a reduced drug dose, cancer treatments can still affect your body for several days afterwards. It’s completely normal for side‑effects to appear a few days later rather than straight away.
Cancer and its treatments can also cause fatigue. We have some information on our website about fatigue and tips on how to manage it such as doing a form of gentle exercise, getting enough rest and eating a good diet.
Constipation can also make you feel tired and unwell. Even if you’ve been active, your body is still working hard to recover. Rest, drink plenty of fluids, and use whatever you normally take for constipation.
Do contact your healthcare team if the pain is getting worse, you can’t go properly, you get a fever, or you feel very unwell.
I hope your symptoms improve soon. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kind regards,
Celene
