I am sorry to hear that you have a sharp pain in the breast area after previous surgery.

That sort of pain is usually related to nerves that may be irritated or compressed. It can be related to soft tissue swelling, a knock or trauma, or related fibrous scar tissue. Sometimes it can be due to a skin breast infection.

You could try changing your bra and opting for a softer one, maybe front fastening for now. You can try gently massaging vitamin E cream or bio oil to the old wound area to loosen the chest breast tissue. Sometimes it helps to apply hot and cold compresses if it is flaring up. Doing gentle arm and chest stretching exercises may also help. Sometimes if it persists, a physiotherapy referral may be of help.
