I was diagnosed yesterday with basal cell carcinoma on my face by a dermatologist. The derm ai photo suggestion was that I had melanoma. I am now awaiting surgical removal. I am terrified. Terrified of the possibility of even more cancers and how long I will wait for treatment etc. I had thought I had always been careful in the sun therefore can't believe what has happened. Should now be wearing sun greenery single day including in winter, days when it's not sunny, winter etc? Thank you for any advice.
