My husband has life limiting oesophageal cancer, diagnosed nearly 2yrs ago.  He has had chemo, immunotherapy and numerous procedures for trying to keep his oesophagus open and multiple stents fitted, total length, 15cm, if i remember correctly.

After his last and final stent, his burps and breath smell like rotting meat! I seriously cannot convey how vile it is It only happened after this last stent.

The cancer is advancing as expected, now visible on endoscopy (3 endoscopies ago) and into the muscle. so is the smell common? Is it the tumour?
