Hello and thank you for your enquiry,
I am sorry that are having vision problems, and can appreciate that this is difficult for you.
Unfortunately, as nurses, we can't really give you a very specific comment or feedback about this. Every patient's situation is different. The only people best placed to talk to you about this, is your current hospital cancer specialist doctor, or specialist hospital nurse, so do make contact with them again, if you haven't recently. Your GP may also be able to help. I am not sure how long this has been happening for you, whether it is ongoing, or recent for you. When cancer has travelled to the brain from elsewhere in the body, it is called secondary brain cancer. Treatments can include having steroids to help with any swelling in the brain. Sometimes, radiotherapy treatment is used as well. Other options can possibly include surgery, or other treatments such as chemotherapy, or immunotherapy.
There is information on secondary brain cancer which may help,
I hope that you are able to discuss this with your doctor soon,
Kind regards,
Vanda
