I am sorry to learn that you currently have some difficult lung symptoms.

I can appreciate that you would want to know more about your situation, and if it will improve. Unfortunately, this isn't something that we can comment on with certainty, as we are not directly clinically involved with your ongoing medical care. Most of the time symptoms will improve to a degree. It can take quite a while to fully recover from a infection.

The person best placed to talk it over with is your doctor, who can give you some feedback about how they think you are doing at the moment. If you have a lung cancer nurse specialist at the hospital, they may also be able to speak with you. Do tell them about your ongoing shortness of breath, as they may be able to advise more about this.
