I am sorry to hear about your previous history of cancer and the concerns you have about the pain you are experiencing and the xray results.

Cysts picked up on x-rays are often benign ( meaning non cancerous) but do talk this through with your doctor to ask if anything else needs to be done following this. Do air any worries you have given your previous cancers to see if they think it is worth referring you back to the breast unit for review.

I think if you are concerned about them not being aware of your previous cancer history you should mention this to your doctor to see what they have to say. It won't necessarily change things but as I said earlier your GP can decide whether you need to be re seen by the breast care team.

Thank you, I did go back to my gp and they just said it’s nothing to worry about. They have referred me to MICATS. I am still in my pathway so have left a message for the breast nurse to call me as I have no confidence in the Gp as they also wanted me to go on HRT for my hot flushes. But thank you,
