Shoulder pain after having treatment for stomach cancer. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi, first time I’ve ever been on a my kind of forum, so here goes. Female, 54

After feeling poorly for a few months and after various tests and scans, I was diagnosed with inoperable stomach cancer which had spread to my liver and colon and various lymph nodes (March 2025.I began chemo after about two weeks, immediately after having a stent fitted in my oesophagus. It was brutal and very aggressive. At one point I was on a twenty one day cycle with no break for months. When it was decided that my body couldn’t take any more, I was switched to immunotherapy (which was every four weeks and wonderful-ish).

The reason I’m writing is that I started to have some pain in my right shoulder. When I mentioned it to one my doctors (not my oncologist) just before Christmas, she suggested that it may be due to reduced body movement. The pain has come and gone since then with no reason to mention it again. For the last two days the pain in my right shoulder has been excruciating with me being unable to lift it. Alongside this I have developed a mucous cough, sometimes containing dry pieces of what looks like weetabix. I should mention that I don’t really eat solid food - mainly fortisips

Has annyone experienced this - especially the shoulder pain?
