I am sorry to hear that you are still having effects from the radiotherapy.

Side effects from radiotherapy can continue for several weeks and even months after the treatment has finished so try not to worry too much.

If you have been given advice about a specific moisturiser for your skin then it may help to apply it to the area particularly if it feels itchy. Radiotherapy departments usually have specific instructions as to what to apply to the skin so do give them a ring if you haven't been given these instructions.

Wear loose cotton clothing over the effected area and hopefully the tenderness will settle down over the next few weeks.
