I am sorry to hear about the treatment you needed for the sarcoma and the discomfort and burns you are dealing with. I appreciate how painful this must be for you.

Do make sure you apply the flamazine as told to and do let your team know if you are really struggling with this.

Pain relief can also help but for the dry and itchy skin around the broken area applying a non perfumed cream such as E45 may help.

Unfortunately radiotherapy continues to work for a while after treatment has finished and therefore side effects can get worse before they get better.
