I’m sorry to hear what you’re going through at the moment. Having your throat operation cancelled and still waiting for your lung biopsy must feel incredibly frustrating and worrying, especially while you’re dealing with symptoms. Waiting for tests and treatment can be one of the hardest parts.

I really hope you’re given new dates for both the surgery and the biopsy very soon. If the delays continue or you feel concerned about what’s happening, it may help to contact your local PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service). They can offer confidential support, help look into delays, and advise on what options you have.

Hi jemma.....thanks for your reply...ive just had a call to go for my lung biopsy on tuesday so going down to Birmingham overnight on monday,im hoping the results wont take too long and then my other consultant can decide which type of op he will be doing on my neck tumours...hopefully things are moving along a bit more.
