You said you would like to hear from other men who have had recent prostate surgery. You might get more replies from other forum users by posting in the general section of cancerchat rather than in the 'ask the nurses' section.

From a nurses perspective, we would suggest that you might want to make contact with your hospital prostate specialist nurse and see if they can help you. Recovery from surgery does vary from patient to patient, and can take a number of months. Pelvic floor exercises do take time to have an effect on strengthening the pelvic muscles.

Another UK charity called Prostate Cancer UK also has an online forum where you can post and see if the forum community can reply to help support you at this time.

They also offer local support groups and one to one support from other men. You can read more about their support services just here.
