Nodules in lung, will be having surgery

Found two in my left lung, gong to operate any advice

  • Hello and thanks for posting

Lung nodules are quite common and in many cases they are benign (non-cancer related) but in a small number of patients it might mean that it's cancer .

Doctors follow clinical guidance when looking at lung nodules. This helps them to decide what types of nodules need to be removed.

I think the best thing to do would be to talk things over with your doctors who will give you specific advice on your lung surgery based on their findings. They are really better placed to advise you further as they are familiar with all your medical details.

I hope this is of some help. Give us a ring if you would like to talk things over. The number to ring is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

    Kind regards,

    Celene
