A Deauville score is used to look at how active the lymphoma is after treatment. The score goes from 1 to 5. A lower score (like 1, 2 or sometimes 3) often means the cancer has responded well and may be in remission. A higher score (4 or 5) can mean there is still some active disease.
Remission is not decided on scan results alone. It has to be interpreted with your overall case, type of lymphoma, and other results such as blood results.
Your hospital specialist is the best person to explain what your score means for you. Please contact them so they can go through your results and answer any questions you may have.
