Hi I had my picc line removed on Friday as I developed a clot and infection, having chemotherapy tomorrow with a temp canula but my veins are shot, worried as they can only use my left arm until I get a port fitted.
I can appreciate your concern. It is difficult for us to make a specific comment, except to say that the cannulation nurse or doctor will try their best to achieve this without too much discomfort for you. They are used to patients with similar issues, so will have a plan in mind regarding your treatment and cannulation need.
