There can be many reasons for these symptoms so please try not to over think them for now.

It is a positive thing that you didn't need treatment following your mastectomies all those years ago and the fact that it has been so long is also a good sign.

You have however done the right thing in seeing your GP and hopefully you will be seen soon by the breast unit just to be on the safe side.

Please try and keep yourself busy and your mind occupied with other things to pass the time.
