I am 56 and have tested positive for HPV - the cell analysis was inconclusive so I need to have another smear/ screen in Feb. This seems such a long wait can I arrange for another one which is quicker? Can I still have sex with my husband? Can I jump to a colposcopy? 
Is this new being screened for HPV - I have read that it can be dormant - I am on HRT.
