I am sorry if you are having investigations or someone you know is being investigated.
It is very difficult with so little information and not being involved to say very much. There are many different tests that are done to diagnose myeloma. Paraproteins can be raised in myeloma but they can also be raised in other conditions.
It can take a few weeks to complete all the different investigations. I know it is hard but try not to resort to google or second guess what might be going on.
It is far better to wait for the doctors to come back with their expert opinion on the results of any tests that are performed.
