I have period type pain in my right ovary. I am 61, no bleeding in 8 years, ultrasound no issues but no answer as to why the pain from my gp. Should i go to him again?
I am sorry to hear about the pain that you have been experiencing.
It is good to hear that the ultrasound did not show anything concerning. If the pain is continuing then do go back to your GP and try and get their opinion as to the cause.
You could always try and get an opinion from another GP in the practice if you want to get a second opinion.
It is difficult without being involved in your care to offer an opinion as to the cause. You could also look at other things in your life such as your diet, whether you are exercising regularly and you are maintaining a healthy weight.
I do hope that you find the cause soon or that it settles down.
Never worry about going back to the GP if symptoms don't get better.
