My husband has had a total nephrectomy and a deep melanoma removed they have discovered nodule on his lung. How likely is that to be cancer? He is waiting investigation.

Most lung nodules are not cancer. They can be caused by things like old infections or scars. But because your husband has had cancer before, doctors will check carefully. They may do a CT scan, PET scan or sometimes a biopsy to find out for sure. The only way to know is through these checks, so try not to worry until the results are back.
