I’m sorry to read that your husband has had a total nephrectomy and a deep melanoma removed. I can appreciate your concerns over the lung nodule which has been found.
Most lung nodules are not cancer. They can be caused by things like old infections or scars. But because your husband has had cancer before, doctors will check carefully. They may do a CT scan, PET scan or sometimes a biopsy to find out for sure. The only way to know is through these checks, so try not to worry until the results are back.
