Do not cancel your appointment. BCCs can appear to heal up only to return at a later date..

It may be good for the dermatology team to review your skin anyway. You could also contact them to ask, but you might not get through to speak to a health professional. By attending the appointment, it will be flagged that you may have had a BCC, and you will receive the appropriate advice for the future. We have more information on BCCs and skin protection on our website, which may be helpful to read through before your appointment.
