BCC Advice - surgery scheduled for next week to remove BCC from top of head. How will this affect me and what precautions can I put in place for aftercare?

This might sound pretty minor but apart from the many family members affected seriously and fatally, this is my first personal brush with it. I have been diagnosed with BCC on top of my head. A common cancer.

NHS surgery is booked for next Tuesday. After the less intrusive biopsy, I followed advice and was fortunate enough to be able to work from home for a few days. My job is fast paced and involves lots of over ear headphone  use. So I am wondering how the actual surgery might affect me and what kind of precautions I can put in place for aftercare - limited activities etc. Hopefully some people here might have been through this. Thanks.
