My brother aged 74 has been told following blood tests that he may have cancer. He was told that he will need further tests before he will know the outcome. What further tests can he expect?

I would expect that the next stage for your brother will be a FIT test, which looks at blood in poo, and then a colonoscopy if he is deemed fit enough for the procedure. They will then biopsy anything they find to get more information about what is going on.
