Hi, my wife is 1 year on from having an op to remove a cancerous lump in her breast. Letrasol has been prescribed due to the type of BC, but it is causing very painful side effects in her chest, back and shoulders still after almost 10 months. Paracetamol has little or no effect and she wpould really like to avoid any stronger painkillers. Letrasole is regarded to be the best type of inhibitor, but are there any other types that she could try which wouldn't increase her chances of oestregen increasing sufficiently to cause a relapse?
