Hi everyone
My husband has just finished his 3rd flot adjuvant chemo after having an esophagectomy in June.
After a lot of thought & discussions, he has decided not to continue with round 4. He has been extremely poorly with the post op chemo. His oncologist is happy with the decision as my husband has been really struggling lately.... but has done really well otherwise
He has lost a great deal of weight and cant taste food at present. We are not worrying too much about this as the same thing happened with the pre op chemo.
The question I'd like to ask is when can he have ice cream? I know this may sound silly but it's what he craves. The cold sensitivity (due to the Flot) has obviously prevented him having anything cold. He would also like to know when he can go to the fridge and/or freezer without gloves on!
Many thanks
X
