I feel totally helpless . I was diagnosed with Basal cell carcinoma last week and now been re referred for another mark on my foot. Doctors said she thinks it’s melanoma. I don’t know what to do
I'm sorry you've been told that you may have another type of skin cancer. I can appreciate that this must feel very frightening and overwhelming right now.
Basal cell carcinoma is very treatable, and your doctors are doing the right thing by getting the new mark checked out as soon as possible.
I know it’s easier said than done but try to keep an open mind for now until you know more. Some people find talking it through with family and friends and keeping busy can sometimes help. Also try and focus on what you can control right now by eating a good diet, getting enough rest, and doing some gentle activities that you enjoy.
