  • Hello pumpkin26, and thank you for posting,

I am sorry to learn that you have been diagnosed with melanoma and that you are waiting for further biopsy results on another mole that was removed. This must not be easy.

Having a cancer diagnosis and waiting for test results can be very stressful and cause anxiety. It is also difficult because there is a lot of uncertainty, and it can take a long time to process everything that you have been through, but people do get through this time.

I hope you have friends and family that you can lean on. I wondered if your hospital has a Maggie's centre or a Macmillan Cancer Support Centre where you may find you can get support.

You would also be welcome to talk things through with one of our nurses on the helpline, and you can call between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, 0808 800 4040.

    Kind regards,

    Jemma
