I've had an unplesant white film inside my mouth along with sore red mouth ulcers for about 3 weeks now. I can't remove it and it feels uncomfortable. Has anyone else found similar?

Hello and thanks for your enquiry,
You may benefit from asking your dentist, a GP, or a local pharmacist for further advice. It is more common to develop oral thrush or mouth infections, rather than mouth cancer. Reviewing mouth hygiene and using mouthwashes, or pastilles, or prescribed medication, such as anti fungals may help clear it up. Mouth ulcers can occur if there are dental issues. Alcohol and smoking can also increase the risk of mouth ulcers developing. Having a daily diet high in vitamins, especially vitamin C sources, from fresh fruit and vegetables for example, can help heal and prevent mouth ulcers. If after these measures, ulcers persist, then further medical advice should be sought again.
I hope this helps,
Best wishes,
Vanda
