Skin forehead lumps. They occasionally bleed and have grown in size. Worried they could be cancerous

I’ve had a small lump on my head for about 2 years, why I haven’t gone to see someone about it I don’t know. It’s a small bulb lump that sometimes bleeds but never goes away. It has grown in size and now I can see another one coming very small. I recently had a skin analyst session in a beauty salon where it shows pigmentation and various oily areas. They couldn’t identify what these lumps were and suggested the doctor. I’m going to book an appointment tomorrow but I’m worried it’s cancer.

  • Hello and thanks for your enquiry,

Do make an appointment to see your GP, who can look at it and advise you. Most long term skin issues are not skin cancer. But it makes sense to get it checked out for peace of mind.

The GP may be able to suggest something to help clear it up.

    I hope this helps,

    Best wishes,

    Vanda
