My mum had first chemo and immuno session on October 1st. Her 2nd is due on Oct 22nd, she is booked in for her flu jab on Oct 11th is this OK? Or should we move it? Thank you.
It is important to have the recommended vaccinations as booked in, to reduce the chance of developing illness. It is better to have them as soon as possible. Further on into the planned chemotherapy courses, the vaccinations may not be as effective.
