I am sorry to hear about your husband, it sounds like this must be a difficult time for you both.

Every cancer is different in the way that it develops, grows and spreads so unfortunately no one here can predict what the future may look like.

The doctors and nurses involved in your husband's care are in a better position to explain the situation to you and tell you what you may see happen in the coming weeks and months.

You haven't mentioned if your husband is having any treatment at the moment. The reason I ask this is because even if a cancer is considered incurable there are often treatments available to try and control the cancer for as long as possible.

Do also ask about other cancer support services that are local to you and also about other community care services your husband may need moving forward. You can search up by postcode on the cancer care map website and support for you and your family on the about cancer section of our website.
