Stage 3a Melanoma in my lymph node

I received the diagnosis of stage 3a melanoma in my lymph node in my right armpit on Friday. This is after being diagnosed 4yrs ago with stage 1b melanoma from a mole on my back I had removed.

How long should I be expected to wait for node removal.surgery and dissection of surrounding nodes as this is what the Dermatologist told me would be the most likely course of action and then immunotherapy.
