I am sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis and appreciate what an anxious time this must be for you.
Unfortunately it can take time for tests to be carried out to stage a cancer ( to find out the exact type, stage and size of cancer) in order to be able to treat it most appropriately. The time people wait from diagnosis to treatment does vary i'm afraid.
If you haven't already I would suggest you speak with your specialist team or consultants secretary to ask for an update.
Often things are happening in the back ground . However if you can get some further understanding about what to expect in the coming days or weeks this would be helpful to you i'm sure.
