I can understand that it must have been disappointing that your case was not discussed and I am sorry to hear this.

It is difficult to be completely sure but it sounds like your case was due to be discussed at a multidisciplinary meeting for melanoma.

There are often many new patients on the list and all the team involved spend a long time discussing each case. A week will probably make very little difference though I know that this must be hard for you. Sometimes patients are put on for the following week if all the tests are not back but I am not sure if this was the case with you.

If you have a specialist nurse you could discuss your concerns with them.

I do hope that you know more when the doctors all meet at the next meeting.
