I am sorry to hear about your brother, this must be a tough time for everyone.

Unfortunately without being involved in your brother's care or having access to his medical record we can't say what the next steps may be for him in terms of treatment.

When a cancer has spread to another part of the body surgery isn't usually an option but a combination of treatments such as chemotherapy, targeted or immunotherapy alongside radiotherapy may be used.

I am sure the team looking after your brother will be aiming to give your brother the best possible outcome. It is however only the team involved who can say what they hope the treatment will achieve and what the future may look like.
