Query: I've noticed my left breast feels different to the other

Hello so just a query so for a while I've noticed my left breast feels different to the other. I can't explain because I don't know how to. Also on the left side of breast feels little harder to other one but I'm unsure of any lumps I don't think there is but not sure I noticed over a year ago but kept eye on it and still the same, I am absolutely terrified to go see a doctor or someone. Cancer is in the family but mainly cervical. Just after advice if anyone else had the same issue and what outcome was?

    I am sorry to hear you are worried about some differences between your breasts. Most women do notice a difference between their breasts that is normal for them However if you think they have changed it is best to get them checked out for peace of mind.

    Gp's are used to assessing this type of thing and know the signs to look out for that may warrant a referral to a breast clinic. Whilst it is normal to feel nervous about seeing a doctor you can request a female doctor if you prefer and I am sure they will try and allay any fears your may have and put your mind at ease.

    No one here can say if there is anything the matter and even if someone has experienced similar to you the outcome could be very different. If you are messaging on a cancer forum about this and it is worrying you so much it is best to arrange that appointment to find out more.
