Pink patches on breast

I had a re excision 25 June . I have been given all clear and at that time wound was healing fine . I then had a greyish patch appear which has been there for prob 2/3 weeks , yesterday I noticed a pink patch on lower part of breast and today there are more blotchy pink patches . I have left a msg on my breast care unit answering phone and as it’s weekend they will come back to me within 48 hours . Should I be worried as this has suddenly appeared or is it normal ?

    I imagine it is unsettling to notice these skin changes, especially after everything seemed to be healing well.

    It's good that you've already contacted your breast care unit. They will be able to assess you and advise you further. Changes to the skin around a healing wound can happen and most of the time it's nothing to be worried about. It might be due to inflammation, irritation, or part of the healing process, but it should be checked out just to be sure.
