  • Hello and thanks for posting

Although, it is rare to have two primary cancers at the same time, it can occasionally happen.

I’m sorry you feel that your GP is not taking your pain seriously. Do explain to them or your specialist team at the hospital that your pain is not improving . They can assess you and advise you on what needs to happen next. They can also prescribe painkillers to manage your pain and improve your comfort. If you have a specialist nurse (CNS) involved in your care then perhaps they can provide you with further information. You often have to call and leave them a message and they will get back to you.

Moles are common and the majority are harmless. Some can change over time but this doesn't mean it's something to be overly worried about. However, it's important that anything that looks different is checked out to be on the safe side. GP's are very used to assessing moles and if they suspect something isn't right they will refer on to the dermatologist ( skin specialist) for further assessment.

The NHS website has some information on getting your moles checked by your GP.

I hope this is of some use. Give us a ring if you would like to talk anything over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Kind Regards,

    Celene
