I'm sorry to hear about your situation.  I can understand how unsettling this maybe waiting to hear your results.

The time it takes to receive test results can vary between different NHS Trusts due to various factors. In most cases, it takes between two to three weeks to receive results, but some people have experienced longer waits.

Shortages of staff who interpret results can also contribute to delays.

Most hospital specialists only have one clinic per week, so you will most likely be scheduled for the next clinic after the histopathologist examines the biopsy.

It is not necessarily true that only bad results are given face-to face. Different consultants or departments may have varying approaches to sharing results. Most consultants prefer not to disclose results over the phone or by mail, most of them opt for face-to-face communication, regardless of whether the news is good or bad. You may also have a benign condition that may require treatment.

You may find it helpful to seek advice and voice your concerns to the hospital's Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
