Skin cancer

Hi

I've a rough edged ,hard to the touch kind of scab on my upper leg .looks very strange with slight discomfort. I've picked at it a couple of times ,like you do with a normal scab , but instead of healing and getting smaller it just comes back looking the same. I've had it about 2 months now. Is there a forum or site I could send a photo for some advice.

    Try and let the area heal and do not disturb it by picking. You can seek advice from your local pharmacist, and/or make an appointment to see your GP, or an advanced nurse practitioner, at your GP surgery. We do not recommend seeking an online evaluation.

    Most skin issues are not cancer, but you should get anything that is not healing, and/or persistent, checked out by a qualified health care professional.
