Can my mum use a Hot Tub? She was recently diagnosed with oesophageal cancer but hasn't started any treatment yet

Hi, My mum has just been diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus due to her COPD tis is unfortunately unable to be removed due to the complication of the surgery. She is currently waiting to go for a PET scan and at present has not started any treatment.  We have booked a lodge stay for a few days in August this has a hot tub and I was wondering if my mum will be able to use the hot tub.

    How lovely that you are going on holiday with your mum. I would check with her doctors nearer the time about whether your mum can go in the hot tub. If she has started any treatment such as chemotherapy there is always the risk of infection and if her COPD is not well controlled she may find it difficult getting in and out of the tub.

    I hope that she knows more about her treatment soon.
